Keralam effects reshuffle in Forest department

A major reshuffle was made in the Forest department by the Keralam government, with several senior Indian Forest Service (IFS) officers being reassigned.

According to a government order issued in Thiruvananthapuram on Thursday (September 17, 2026), A. Shanavas, Divisional Forest Officer, Thiruvananthapuram, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Conservator of Forest, in full charge of Conservator of Forest (Inspection and Evaluation), Southern Region, Kottayam.

Anil Antony, Divisional Forest Officer, Thenmala, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Conservator of Forest in full charge of Conservator of Forest (Social Forestry), Kollam, and N. Rajesh, Divisional Forest Officer, Ranni, has been transferred and posted as Deputy Conservator of Forest in full charge of Conservator of Forest (Inspection & Evaluation), Northern Region, Kozhikode.
