Keralam Cabinet decides to extend validity of 18 PSC rank lists of teachers
The Keralam Cabinet has extended the validity of 18 teacher rank lists by six months to address recruitment delays caused by administrative duties. Additionally, the government is establishing three new special courts to expedite drug-related cases under the NDPS Act.

The Keralam Cabinet on Wednesday decided to extend by six months the validity of 18 Public Service Commission (PSC) rank lists for the appointment of teachers. The validity of the rank lists from primary level to the higher secondary level, which are set to expire in September, October and November 2026, are being extended. The decision is meant to resolve the delay in reporting teacher vacancies on time due to reasons such as census duty, BLO duties, delay in transfer procedures and staff fixation, said Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan.
