Kerala State Human Rights Commission orders decision on doctor’s leave and dues

The Kerala State Human Rights Commission has ordered the authorities concerned to take a decision within a month on the leave application of a government doctor who has served for nearly 30 years. The commission member V. Geetha issued the directive stating that an immediate decision must also be taken regarding the salary and other benefits due to the complainant from October 2024. The directive was issued to the Director of Health Services and District Medical Officer, Ernakulam. The commission noted that the complainant can approach the commission again if the government fails to take action.
