Kerala govt to pick 33 schemes from 8 departments for Concurrent Evaluation and Monitoring of Schemes
The Kerala government has selected 33 schemes across eight departments for the Concurrent Evaluation and Monitoring of Schemes (CEMS) for the 2026-27 fiscal year. This initiative aims to track real-time progress and identify implementation bottlenecks in government programs.

Thirty-three schemes from eight government departments in Kerala will be subjected to the Concurrent Evaluation and Monitoring of Schemes (CEMS) in the current fiscal.
The departments include Higher Education, Health and Family Welfare, Public Works, Fisheries, Women and Child Development, Transport, Tourism, and Cultural Affairs. The 33 schemes will be picked from these eight departments, with four schemes each from seven departments and five from the Department of Cultural Affairs, the Finance Department, which handles CEMS, said.
In addition to the 33 schemes selected from the departments, the State government will evaluate some of the notable schemes announced in the 2026-27 State Revised Budget through CEMS.
