‘Kalanjali,’ the State-level arts festival organised by the Kerala Brahmana Sabha (KBS), will be held in Alappuzha from September 19 to September 21. The seventh edition of the arts fest will have nearly 700 participants competing in 61 events. This year, a ‘Vanithotsavam’ for women from the community and ‘Balotsavam’ for children below nine years also have been included. KBS first organized ‘Kalanjali’ in 2007 at Alappuzha. Subsequent editions were held at Kottayam, Thiruvananthapuram, Mattancherry, Ernakulam and Palakkad. K.C. Venugopal MP will inaugurate the fest at 10 a.m. on September 19. KBS State president H. Ganesh will preside. State Election Commissioner N.
