Amir Suhail, PhD Scholar at the Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), has been selected for the prestigious Dr. P.V. Mohanan Endowment Award 2026, instituted by the Kerala Academy of Sciences. Mr. Suhail is pursuing research on developing innovative human-relevant models for biomedical and toxicological research. His significant contributions to this emerging area of biomedical research have earned him this prestigious recognition, a press release stated.
The award, comprising a gold medal, certificate and cash prize, will be presented by Kerala University of Health Sciences Vice-Chancellor Mohanan Kunnummal on September 3 at the Central Laboratory for Instrumentation and Facilitation (CLIF) of Kerala University.
