Kenyans win elite Millennium Marathon races in Ghana
Kenyan athletes Alex Korio and Lucy Ndambuki won the elite 21 km races at the KGL Foundation Millennium Marathon in Accra, Ghana. The event also served as a platform to promote mental health awareness through the KGL Foundation's digital initiatives.

Kenyan athletes won the elite 21 km races: Alex Korio finished first among the men, while Lucy Ndambuki won the women’s race, setting a new course record.
As MyJoyOnline reports , the competition at Independence Square in Accra was also dedicated to the theme of holistic well-being. This year’s marathon was linked to the KGL Foundation’s mental health initiative, in particular the Mental Health Index — a digital approach to raising awareness about mental health in Ghana.
