Ireland fell to a 1-0 loss in Pristina against Kosovo in the opening UEFA Nations League game as Heimir Hallgrimsson's side struggled to create any clear chances while their opponents will be disappointed they didn’t put more past the Irish.
It was a busy night between the sticks for the Brentford man and he was reliant on his defenders a couple of times to make last ditch saves as he was caught out of his goal.
He did have one moment of pure brilliance on 38 minutes when a cross was delivered into a waiting Vedat Muriqi who beautifully struck the ball towards the top right corner. An outstretched Kelleher just managed to get his fingertips to it and deny the Kosovan forward.
He saved the initial shot before Muriqi's late second half goal but couldn't hold onto it to prevent him from pouncing and snatching a goal.
