Kerala Congress (M) [KC (M)] chairman Jose K. Mani on Monday (August 31, 2026) expressed dissatisfaction over the ongoing dispute between the Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] and the Communist Party of India (CPI) over the post of Deputy Leader of the Opposition, warning that open bickering over positions within the Left Democratic Front (LDF) could further alienate the people from the front.
Addressing the media at Maramon, Mr. Mani said the LDF needed to focus on introspection and course correction following its electoral setback rather than engage in disputes over posts.
