KBN University’s medical faculty ranks 27th among private medical colleges
The Faculty of Medical Sciences at Khaja Bandanawaz University in Kalaburagi has been ranked 27th among private medical colleges in India by the 2026 International Institutional Ranking Framework. University officials expressed pride in this recognition of their medical education standards.

The Faculty of Medical Sciences of Khaja Bandanawaz University, Kalaburagi, has secured the 27th rank nationally, 20th at the zonal level and 13th in Karnataka in the 2026 International Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) ranking of private medical colleges.
According to the IIRF 2026 certificate issued to the university’s Faculty of Medical Sciences, KBN medical institution has been ranked among the leading private medical colleges in the country.
The certificate has been issued by the International Institutional Ranking Framework (IIRF) and its IIRF Centre for Institutional Research, New Delhi.
KBN University in-charge Vice-Chancellor Ashfaq Ahmad said the ranking recognised the institution’s performance in the medical education sector.
