KBN University conducts free health camp for over 2,000 people
A free health camp and health awareness programme organised by Khaja Bandanawaz University (KBN University) benefited more than 2,000 people at different locations in Kalaburagi on Thursday.
The programme was held between 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. as part of the birthday celebrations of KBN University Chancellor Syed Mohammed Ali Al-Hussaini. It was held as an initiative of the university’s IQAC under the Faculty of Medical Sciences in association with the Department of Community Medicine.
Inaugurating the camp at Khaja Bazar, Pro Vice-Chancellor Ashfaq Ahmed said KBN University was committed to serving people, particularly those from economically weaker sections, and had continued its community service by organising the health camp and providing medicines free of cost.
IQAC director Mohammed Abdul Basheer said such camps would be organised every year. He said those requiring further consultation or treatment could approach KBN Hospital.
