Telangana Rakshana Sena president K. Kavitha has opposed the use of concrete in the development and expansion of the Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy temple in Vemulwada, saying it could affect the temple’s structural longevity.

Addressing the media in Vemulawada in Rajanna Sircilla district on Tuesday, she said the historic shrine, known for the famous Kode Mokku tradition, had deep religious and historical significance and a hoary past.
