Telangana Rakshana Sena chief K. Kavitha became emotional during her first visit to Nizamabad after launching her new political party, seeking to reconnect with the people of the district that she represented in the Parliament.
Breaking down several times during her speech at a public meeting, Ms. Kavitha said, “Do not mistake my tears for weakness. An ordinary woman sheds tears when she is hurt, but that does not mean she is a coward.”
She recalled that she had been elected as an MP and later as an MLC with the support of Nizamabad people, she referred to her arrest and the investigations by the Enforcement Directorate and the CBI for no fault of hers.
