Kate Beckinsale has sparked concern online with a pair of cryptic, since-deleted social media posts.
The "Underworld" actress , 53, shared an Instagram post on Sunday, Sept. 20, with the word "bye" written in white text over a black background and no caption. The star also shared a message on her Instagram Stories: "Congratulations. You won. I give up," the post said in white text written over a photo of a rainbow.
USA TODAY has reached out to a representative for Beckinsale for comment.
Over the past year, the "Van Helsing" star has been open about her struggles with grief after her mother died in July 2025 from cancer and her stepfather died in 2024.
