Karnataka Postal Circle to sell 8,000 philately passports on October 10 and 11

The Karnataka Postal Circle is set to sell 8,000 philately passports on October 10 and 11 to mark National Postal Week. Sales will be conducted on a first-come, first-served basis at specific post offices in Bengaluru, Mangaluru, Mysuru, and Belagavi.

After receiving an overwhelming response earlier, the Karnataka Postal Circle of India Post will be selling 8,000 philately passports on October 10 and 11. The passports are being released on the occasion of National Postal Week starting October 7.
Addressing the media on Wednesday, Swati Pandey, Chief Postmaster General, Karnataka Circle, said: “The sale will be based on first-come, first-serve basis with physical tokens issued to visitors who stand in queues. There will be no online sale or advance booking for passports. Each passport costs ₹600 and will be available in Bengaluru GPO, Mangaluru, Mysuru, and Belagavi.”
