GURGAON: A retired Indian Air Force Group Captain and Kargil War veteran has accused a parking attendant at Magnum Global Park of assaulting him with an iron rod, leaving him with serious head injuries and a fractured hand.In a complaint to police, Group Captain Amit Kumar Gupta (retired) alleged that the attendant also threatened to kill him following an altercation over parking on September 10.The complaint has been lodged in Sector 65 police station.Gupta, who was part of the IAF’s ‘Op Sagar’ team during the 1999 Kargil War, had gone to Magnum Global Park for a family dinner at Gonzo restaurant that night.According to his complaint, Gupta dropped his family at the restaurant around 8pm and went to park his car.
