Kammampalli Government High School in Krishnagiri gets new classrooms
Six new classrooms were inaugurated at the Kammampalli Government High School in Krishnagiri, funded by the Tamil Nadu Firecracker Traders Association and the school's PTA. The project aims to improve educational infrastructure and support the school's goal of becoming a higher secondary institution.

Six new classrooms were inaugurated at the Kammampalli Government High School, on Wednesday (October 7, 2026), under the aegis of the Krishnagiri district administration. The classroom building was funded by the Tamil Nadu Firecracker Traders Association and the Parent Teachers’ Association (PTA) of the school.
Kammampalli Govenrment High school has over 457 students pursuing English-medium education. Inaugurating the classrooms, Collector C. Dinesh Kumar said the school’s PTA had long demanded for a new classroom block and also to assign the school as examination centre.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said the Tamil Nadu Firecracker Traders Association has consistently contributed through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative for schools. Earlier, the association funded facilities for the school for the mentally challenged at Bargur.
