The Kalamassery police have issued fresh summons to Reporter TV managing director Anto Augustine and two unidentified people over the alleged defamatory remarks that he made against Chief Minister V.D. Satheesan.
Mr. Augustine has been asked to appear before investigators at 10 a.m. on Thursday (October 1, 2026), a senior police officer said. The fresh summons was issued after Mr. Augustine did not turn up at the station on Monday for interrogation citing inconvenience. He has also moved the High Court seeking to quash the first information report in the case.
