Kalaburagi: District Science Centre to observe Hiroshima Day with educational programmes

The District Science Centre, Kalaburagi, will observe Hiroshima and Nagasaki Day on August 6 and 7 by organising a series of educational programmes for school and college students to create awareness about the devastating human and environmental consequences of the atomic bombings.
According to a press release issued by the District Science Officer, a documentary screening on the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and an exhibition of a nuclear reactor model will be held at 11 a.m. on August 6.
