PETALING JAYA: Men’s doubles shuttlers Tee Kai Wun-Yap Roy King became the Badminton Association of Malaysia’s (BAM) second scratch pair to reach the quarter-finals of the China Masters.
The Malaysian duo, who won the Korea Masters title last month, defeated Indonesia's world No 30 pair Rayhan Ali Faathir-Devin Artha Wahyudi 21-16, 21-19 in 34 minutes at Shenzhen Sports Centre Gymnasium.
Kai Wun-Roy King, who have been playing together since July, will face Japan’s world No 28 pair Takumi Nomura-Yuichi Shimogami in the quarter-finals tomorrow.
