Kai Sotto confident of bright future with young Gilas core

Gilas Pilipinas star center Kai Sotto expressed his confidence of the bright future for the national team, especially with the team’s performance in the fourth window of the 2027 FIBA World Cup Asian Qualifiers.
The Nationals played with an all-local crew in the games against Jordan and Iran and yet they completed a sweep of the window to improve to a 4-4 record and, more importantly, revive their hopes of making it back to the World Cup.
It was an all-around team effort for Gilas with several players, particularly the younger ones delivering the goods, signifying a promising future for the national team
“I’m just very blessed to be part of this team. I think this young core that we have I think this gives me confidence pagdating sa future,” said the 7-foot-3 center, who made his Gilas return after missing the first three windows of the qualifier.
