KADC Chairman assures aid to slain Dalit man’s family in Raichur
The Chairman of the Karnataka Adijambava Development Corporation has pledged financial and educational support to the family of a murdered Dalit man in Raichur. The aid package includes assistance for the victim's children, housing, and resources to help the family sustain their livelihood.

Karnataka Adijambava Development Corporation (KADC) Chairman G.S. Manjunath promised comprehensive support to the family of Bhumanand, a Dalit man who was murdered recently near Sunkeshwarhal village in Deodurga taluk of Raichur district.
Visiting Haddinal, the victim’s native village, Mr. Manjunath met the grieving family to offer his condolences.
“All applicable government and corporation benefits will be extended to the family, given that they depended entirely on Bhumanand’s income,” Mr. Manjunath said.
In addition to State aid, the corporation will meet the educational expenses of the victim’s three daughters up to the Pre-University Course (PUC) level. Mr. Manjunath also assured the family that the corporation would address their requests for a commercial vehicle and a hollow-brick manufacturing unit to help sustain their livelihood.
