Kadapa MP seeks ₹50,000 an acre as compensation for damaged banana crop

The Pulivendula Assembly constituency in Kadapa district is known for extensive banana cultivation. Several banana trees were uprooted and many others tilted due to the heavy winds that lashed the district recently.
Mr. Avinash Reddy visited Kuppalapalli, Tallapalli and Velamavaripalli villages in Vempalle mandal on Friday and assessed the crop damage. He also consoled the affected farmers.
