- A Kelantan Umno delegate today extended an olive branch to PAS, after previously criticising the Islamist party and labelling three of its leaders as "tiga jahanam" (three cursed individuals).
"PAS, I want to apologise for my previous 'tiga jahanam' remarks. That was an issue of the past. Now, I am extending a hand for us to mend the fences and start working together to uphold our religion in this country, and unite our people," said Pasir Puteh Umno division chief Zawawi Othman ( above ).
