K.J. George visits New Mangalore Port Authority
Minister K.J. George visited the New Mangalore Port Authority to review operational, infrastructural, and tourism-related facilities. The visit included an inspection of the cruise terminal and discussions on the port's role in the regional economy.

Minister for Energy and Tourism K.J. George visited the New Mangalore Port Authority (NMPA) on Sunday and reviewed various operational, infrastructural and tourism-related aspects of the Port.
NMPA Deputy Chairperson S. Shanthi and other senior officers welcomed Mr. George. During the visit, the Minister visited Port’s operational areas to gain a first-hand understanding of the Port’s functioning, cargo handling operations and infrastructure.
He also visited the Cruise Terminal and was briefed on the facilities and arrangements supporting cruise tourism through the Port. The Minister subsequently held a brief meeting with the Port Management, during which various matters relating to the Port’s operations, infrastructure and its role in supporting the region’s economy and tourism were discussed.
