Karnataka Energy and Tourism Minister K.J. George on Tuesday invited Karnataka-origin entrepreneurs and investors based in the UAE to participate in the State’s next phase of tourism, infrastructure and economic development.

Speaking at the “Invest in Karnataka – NRI Business Community Meet, Dubai 2026”, organised by the Karnataka NRI Forum UAE, Mr. George said Karnataka offered significant opportunities for global investors and assured government support in facilitating credible investment proposals.

The meeting was attended by 65 leading Karnataka-origin business leaders representing more than 20 sectors. Discussions covered tourism, trade, infrastructure, connectivity and business partnerships, according to a press release.

Tourism Secretary Ram Prasath Manohar made a presentation on investment opportunities in Karnataka’s diverse tourism sector. He highlighted the potential for private participation and public-private partnership projects in leisure, medical, wellness, spiritual, coastal, business and experience-based tourism.
