Juventus plan €250m capital increase with Exor to inject €60m immediately

Juventus has proposed a €250 million capital increase to improve its financial stability and support sporting competitiveness. Majority shareholder Exor has committed to an immediate €60 million injection as part of this broader plan.
Why it matters
This move highlights the ongoing financial struggles of major European football clubs and the reliance on parent companies to maintain compliance with UEFA financial regulations.
Juventus have proposed a share capital increase of up to €250m, with majority shareholder Exor putting in €60m straight away.
According to their financial statements , the board will ask shareholders on November 3 to grant it a mandate under Article 2443 of the Italian Civil Code, allowing a paid-in capital increase in one or more tranches up to that maximum, including any premium. The mandate is expected to be exercised in whole or in part by the end of 2026, market conditions permitting, through a rights offering to existing shareholders.
