Justin shocks Indonesian shuttler in Taipei opener

PETALING JAYA: National men's singles shuttler Justin Hoh pulled off an upset in the first round of the Taipei Open today by defeating higher-ranked Indonesian Zaki Ubaidillah in three games to book a last-16 berth.
In a hard-fought 55-minute match, the 50th-ranked Justin beat Zaki, who is ranked 25 places above him, 21-14, 15-21, 21-11 at the Taipei Arena in Taiwan.
This is the second time Justin has beaten the Indonesian shuttler in their five encounters so far.
Justin will face either Kalle Koljonen from Finland or Indonesia’s Prahdiska Bagas Shujiwo in the next round.
