The incident lasted for roughly eight hours before most services returned, according to Game Informer’s live outage report , which tracked Sony’s official service indicators during the disruption.
The outage has since been reported as resolved, although individual users can still encounter account, console, regional or game-specific problems. GameSpot reported that Sony’s status page showed all services up and running after the hours-long failure. The immediate answer to “is PlayStation Network down?” is therefore no confirmed global outage as of July 26, but the July 24 incident was real, widespread and significant.
