OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - A former UFC fighter who fought out of Omaha appeared in court Wednesday on domestic violence charges.
Anthony Smith was arrested on charges of attempted first-degree domestic assault, terroristic threats, and first-degree false imprisonment. A judge set his bond at $500,000.
In a statement released Wednesday afternoon, the Sarpy County Attorney’s Office revealed more details:
Smith was involved in an altercation with the alleged victim at a bar in Gretna on July 26, during which he reportedly threatened to kill them if they did not get into his car and go home with him.
