JSS STU-Bajaj initiative to train 720 youth in three years
JSS Science and Technology University has partnered with the Bajaj Auto Foundation to launch a skill training program for unemployed youth in two-wheeler repair. The initiative aims to train 720 candidates over three years in both electric and internal combustion engine maintenance.

JSS Science and Technology University (JSSSTU), in association with the Bajaj Auto Foundation, Pune, has launched a free three-month skill training programme for unemployed youth in two-wheeler repair and maintenance.
The Service Technician Excellence Programme (STEP) Skill Training Centre was inaugurated at the JSS Technical Institutions Campus here. The programme is being offered as a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative of the Bajaj Auto Foundation.
The hands-on programme, including on-the-job training, is aimed at equipping young men and women with industry-relevant skills and improving their employment prospects in the growing two-wheeler service sector, a press release said.
The inaugural batch will have 60 seats, with 30 seats each for Electric Vehicle (EV) repair and servicing and Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) repair and servicing.
