Jr. NTR slams morphed ‘Chuttamalle’ video featuring Janhvi Kapoor, vows to take legal action
Telugu actor Jr. NTR has condemned the creation and spread of an AI-generated sexually explicit video featuring co-star Janhvi Kapoor. He has vowed to pursue legal action and called for stricter government regulations on AI misuse.
Why it matters
The incident highlights the growing threat of deepfake technology and the lack of legal safeguards for public figures.
Telugu superstar Jr. NTR has come out strongly against an AI-generated clip featuring Janhvi Kapoor from the music video ‘Chuttamalle’ from Devara . The video has been doing rounds on social media and features digitally altered sexually explicit imagery that was not part of the original song.
Taking to X, NTR called the act of making the video “disgusting, sick and shameless”. “In a land that worships women as mothers and goddesses, where ‘Matrudevo Bhava’ is not just a phrase but a part of our culture, some people have fallen so low that they are using AI to disrespect a woman in the most degrading way possible. Using AI to create something this vile is shameful beyond words,” he wrote.
