The Irishman opened his bout against Max Holloway with a flying roundhouse kick, which immediately left him injured and forced his long-awaited return to UFC to be cut short just over a minute in.
The UFC legend of Conor McGregor is officially dead And Joe Rogan was highly critical of McGregor’s decision making in his first fight since 2021.
“He just tried a crazy move. He tried a jumping roundhouse kick… if you don’t land in a good way with the supporting way, you put so much pressure on that knee.. he landed with his knee in the worst position,” Rogan said on the broadcast after the fight .
