Jipmer’s resource hub upgraded as Centre of Excellence for Health Technology Assessment
The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (Jipmer) has upgraded its resource hub to a Centre of Excellence for Health Technology Assessment. This new status will allow the institute to lead in developing national methodological standards and quality assurance for healthcare research.

The Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research has achieved another milestone with its Resource Hub for Health Technology Assessment being upgraded to be established as a Centre for Excellence for Health Technology Assessment (HTA).
The institute in a release said as of 2026, the hub has completed 30 research studies, organised or contributed to 40 national and international capacity-building activities and published 31 peer-reviewed articles in reputed national and international journals.
