Jipmer holds awareness initiative to promote healthy lifestyle among students

Jipmer has launched a health awareness campaign across four government schools to promote physical activity and prevent non-communicable diseases. The program includes educational presentations and lifestyle pledges to encourage healthier habits among students.

The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR) of Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (Jipmer), conducted a focused awareness initiative to promote physical activity and prevent non-communicable diseases (NCDs) among young people.
As part of the programme, a week-long health awareness campaign was organised in four government schools at Gorimedu, Mudaliarpet, Katterikuppam and Embalam.
