Jindal Stainless Q1 net profit rises 7.6% to ₹769 crore

Jindal Stainless Ltd (JSL) for the quarter ended June 30, 2026 reported a 7.6% YoY growth in net profit at ₹769 crore despite supply chain pressures due to ongoing geopolitical disruptions.
The net revenue for the quarter stood at ₹11,279 crore, up 10.5% YoY.
The consolidated net debt was at ₹ 2,950 crore. The company’s performance was underpinned by healthy demand across key end-use sectors including mobility, infrastructure, manufacturing, and consumer sectors, the company said.
The automotive segment remained a strong growth driver while special-grade volumes also rose in the quarter, it added.
“The export business remained stable amid a challenging global environment. A diversified market portfolio, supported by expanding opportunities in South Korea, Japan, and Brazil and continued presence in Europe and the U.S., helped maintain exports at 11% of the overall sales mix,” the company said.
