PETALING JAYA: Newly formed mixed doubles pair Jimmy Wong-Cheng Su Yin continued their giant-killing run in the Japan Open today after upsetting world No 3 Danish duo Mathias Christiansen-Alexandra Boje to book a semi-final berth.
The Malaysians, ranked world No 118, took 53 minutes to secure a 21-17, 21-17 victory at the Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium.
Jimmy-Su Yin, have now beaten three higher-ranked pairs en route to the last four.
