Jilted lover stabs woman to death in Bengaluru after she cut ties with him

BENGALURU: A 23-year-old woman was allegedly stabbed to death by her jilted lover inside her residence in JC Nagar, Kurubarahalli-Mahalakshmipuram, in north Bengaluru, police said on Monday.The victim has been identified as Anjali. Police said the suspect, Rajeev, allegedly attacked her after she distanced herself from him over his criminal background.The incident occurred late Sunday night.Anjali and Rajeev had been in a relationship for the past two years. However, Rajeev was allegedly involved in several criminal cases, including robbery. Concerned about their daughter's safety and future, Anjali's parents had advised her to stay away from him."Anjali and Rajeev were in relationship for last two years.
