The police on Wednesday (September 9) arrested a man from Jharkhand in connection with the murder of a Nepalese national near Coimbatore.
The arrested was identified as Mathayas Malto from Pakur in Jharkhand, who had been working in the warehouse of an e-commerce company. The deceased was identified as his colleague Rajan alias Rameswar Sah (24) from Mahottari district in Nepal.
Sah was found dead in a hollow-block shed at a parcel of private land at Nandini Nagar at Pappampatti on Monday.
The Sulur police launched an investigation and traced the whereabouts of the deceased person. The police found that Sah’s colleagues Jagadeesh of West Bengal and Malto were missing after the incident. They traced and took Malto into custody for questioning.
