A Jharkhand Bharatiya Janata Party ( BJP ) delegation, led by State President Aditya Sahu and Opposition leader Babulal Marandi, met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in New Delhi on Wednesday (August 19, 2026), to discuss various issues, including the student protest.
Mr. Marandi also posted a message on X saying, “A detailed discussion was held on various important issues related to Jharkhand, and guidance along with necessary directions were received from Home Minister Amit Shah Ji.”
Apart from Mr. Sahu and Mr. Marandi, the delegation also included former Chief Ministers Arjun Munda, Raghubar Das, and Champai Soren, as well as former State presidents Ravindra Rai and Deepak Prakash, and Organisation General Secretary Karmveer Singh.
