Jangwani Bridge contractor tasked complete the project before the end of 2027

Tanzanian Minister for Works Masanja Kadogosa has ordered the contractor of the Jangwani Bridge to complete the project by the end of 2027. The bridge is a strategic infrastructure project aimed at mitigating flooding and improving transport in Dar es Salaam.

DAR ES SALAAM: THE Minister for Works Masanja Kadogosa has directed the contractor building the Jangwani Bridge to ensure the project is completed by the end of 2027, as the government pushes to address persistent flooding and transport disruptions in one of Dar es Salaam’s busiest corridors.
Minister Kadogosa issued the directive during an inspection of the project’s progress, commending the contractor and the Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) for the work done so far.
According to the minister, implementation of major strategic projects is a sign of leadership focused on delivering tangible results and driving economic growth.
“The contractor has done a very good job. Continue working hard and ensure this project is completed by the end of 2027,” he said.
