External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar will be on an official visit to Bhutan from September 16-17, during which he will hold talks with his Bhutanese counterpart to shore up bilateral cooperation.

During the visit he will receive a royal audience with the King of Bhutan, and call on the Prime Minister of Bhutan, the Ministry of External Affairs said on Wednesday (September 16, 2026).

The External Affairs Minister will pay an official visit to Bhutan from September 16-17 at the invitation of Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trade of Bhutan, Lyonpo D.N. Dhungyel.

During the visit, the EAM will hold bilateral talks with the Foreign Minister of Bhutan, the MEA said.
