TAIWANESE TV host Jacky Wu, who is credited with discovering the King of Mandopop, Jay Chou, stunned fans by announcing that he and his wife had divorced 12 years ago, China Press reported.
The 63-year-old held a show at the Arena of Stars at Resorts World Genting on July 18 that combined music, variety entertainment and spontaneous audience interaction.
In one of the segments, Wu spoke candidly about his personal life and revealed that he and Chang Wei-wei, to whom he had been married for over a decade, divorced in 2014.
Earlier, it was reported that Wu and Chang had separated, but their divorce had not been made public.
Wu said he transferred all his properties to Chang when signing the divorce papers.
