Jack Crowley ruled out until new year in huge blow for Munster outhalf
Munster and Ireland rugby player Jack Crowley has been ruled out of competition until the new year due to a severe lower limb vascular injury. The team is now forced to rely on younger academy players and experienced veterans to fill the vacancy.

Jack Crowley’s enforced absence with a lower limb vascular injury will be extended to more than nine months on specialist medical advice following the news that he will be out until the new year. He sustained the issue in April.
First and foremost, on a personal level, it is a hugely unfortunate blow for the talented 26-year-old outhalf, while also representing a significant setback for Munster and Ireland .
Crowley won back his starting place on Andy Farrell’s Irish team for the final three matches of the Six Nations and in probability would have started the Nations Championship matches in Australia and New Zealand during the summer.
Furthermore, he will miss the Nations Championship Tests against Argentina, Fiji and South Africa in November, as well as the London-based finale to the competition.
