Jabalpur–Coimbatore Special’s services to be regularised from October 23
Indian Railways has regularized the Jabalpur–Coimbatore Weekly Superfast Express, effective October 23, and announced a special train between Mumbai and Thiruvananthapuram to manage festival season demand. The updates include specific schedule changes and coach configurations for both services.

The Railways has regularised the services of the Jabalpur–Coimbatore Weekly Superfast Express.
Train No. 02198 Jabalpur–Coimbatore Weekly Superfast Express will run as Train No. 20160 with effect from October 23. The train will leave Jabalpur at 11.50 p.m. on Fridays and reach Coimbatore Junction at 2.30 p.m. on Sundays, according to a release from Southern Railway’s Palakkad Division.
Train No. 02197 Coimbatore–Jabalpur Weekly Superfast Express will run as Train No. 20159 with effect from October 26. It will leave Coimbatore Junction at 5.05 p.m. on Mondays to reach Jabalpur at 8.45 a.m. on Wednesdays.
The train will have one AC First Class, two AC 2-Tier, six AC 3-Tier, nine Second Class Sleeper, four General Second Class, and two Second Class Luggage-cum-Brake Van coaches.
The Railways will operate a special train between Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (LTT) and Thiruvananthapuram North to clear the festival rush.
