Beemapally Rasheed, Thiruvananthapuram district president of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), passed away here on Thursday. He was 65. He served as the State secretary of the Muslim league, district convenor of the United Democratic Front (UDF) and as a UDF councillor at the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation.
