IUML Thiruvananthapuram district president passes away at 65
Beemapally Rasheed, the Thiruvananthapuram district president of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), has passed away at the age of 65. He was a prominent political figure who served in various leadership roles within the UDF and held positions in several state-run corporations.

Beemapally Rasheed, Thiruvananthapuram district president of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), passed away here on Thursday. He was 65. He served as the State secretary of the Muslim league, district convenor of the United Democratic Front (UDF) and as a UDF councillor at the Thiruvananthapuram Corporation. During the previous UDF governments, he had served as the chairperson of Horticorp, SIDCO and KEL. He had entered public life through the Muslim Students Federation (MSF).
