ITB study: Greater Jakarta air pollution cannot be solved by single region, sector

wo recent studies by the Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) have indicated that air pollution in the Greater Jakarta area cannot be addressed by a single region or sector alone.
Both studies - the Greater Jakarta (Jabodetabek) Regional Emission Inventory and the PM2.5 Source Apportionment in Jakarta - were conducted by a research team from the Air and Waste Management Research Group (KK PUL) at ITB's Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering (FTSL), led by Puji Lestari with the support of the Visi Indonesia Raya Emisi Nol Bersih (ViriyaENB) Foundation.
