Software industry will continue to provide career opportunities for youngsters in spite of many challenges and technological advancements in the sector, said HCL Technologies Limited Corporate vice-president Srimathi Shivasankar on Saturday (September 5, 2026). She said that young women would continue to dominate the IT sector as they outnumbered men with their efforts and development of skills in chosen fields.
Along with Avanti group chairman and former Minister Muttamsetti Srinivasa Rao, she presented medals and certificates to graduating students during Avanthi Engineering College Graduation Day-2026 celebration at Cherukupalli in Vizianagaram district.
Speaking on the occasion, she said that youngsters can choose companies after thorough verification of growth opportunities instead of giving priority to just salary packages.
Infosys District Center Head of Visakhapatnam Suresh Narra said that software needs for all industries and companies and government would continue to ensure decent growth in IT sector.
