‘It’s a Medical Miracle’ film review: A slick experiment let down by a loose script

It’s a Medical Miracle introduces a fascinating premise: Rubin, brought to life with grounded sincerity by Sangeeth Prathap, recovers from a lengthy coma with sonic superpower. Capable of detecting distant conversations and hidden sounds, he finds his world irrevocably altered. Intent on tracking down the nurse who cared for him, his path crosses with Sooraj (Sharafudheen), pushing the film into an erratic sequence of events. The film comes with an ambitious framework that attempts a madcap blend of supernatural, suspense, comedy and drama, but struggles to maintain its footing. While the unusual concept and clear effort behind the production are evident, the overall theatrical experience is a let-down just like its title -- it totally misses the vibe of the movie.
