Issue passport to former Minister: Court

Principal District and Sessions Judge for Virudhunagar A. Kanthakumar has directed authorities concerned to issue the passport to former AIADMK Minister K.T. Rajenthra Bhalaji with the condition that he should not leave the country without the court’s permission.
Following complaints of a job scam against the then Minister when he was holding the Dairy Development (Aavin) portfolio in the erstwhile AIADMK government, police had registered a case and impounded his passport as a part of the probe.
